Outside work, he enjoys woodwork and old cameras.

Marcus has spent over 10 years growing the organic search visibility of both large organisations and SMEs. He specialises in technical SEO but is obsessed with crafting strategies that leverage expertise and unlock potential.
Having worked both in-house and across a number of large digital marketing agencies, including a period as SEO Manager for a nationwide retailer, he brings deep experience in ecommerce, publisher SEO and B2B lead generation.
A firm believer in the shift towards ‘search everywhere optimisation’, he advocates a measured approach to GEO: optimising efficiencies while maintaining strategic and creative control. When not at work, he can be found honing his strategy skills in Warhammer 40K and D&D, or reading up on medieval history.

Tom has nearly 15 years of experience in copywriting and content strategy. He started his career at one of the biggest marketing agencies in the UK, where he worked his way up from Junior Copywriter to Content Team Manager. In this role, he managed one of the largest copywriting teams in the UK.
After five successful years, he left to go freelance. During this time, he provided agency support and worked directly with some of the UK’s biggest brands and businesses, including two Premier League football clubs and several holiday providers.
At Another Concept, Tom leads the copywriting and content strategy elements of the business. He’s a keen believer in putting the audience at the heart of content creation, and his work at Another Concept has seen the agency win two global awards for content marketing.
When he’s not typing away at his keyboard, Tom can be found training for his latest half marathon, sitting on the terraces at a cricket ground, telling anyone who will listen about the virtues of Marcelo Bielsa or hacking his way around a golf course.

Rich has worked in the PR and content space for over a decade. Across this time, he has spearheaded everything from huge international marketing campaigns, all the way through to promotion for local businesses, supporting corporate comms, managing product launches and much more. All of which has been done for a variety of firms across many different sectors and has achieved incredible results and even global award recognition.
Prior to co-founding Another Concept, Rich’s experience saw him working in the agency world, in-house and on a freelance basis. From this, he has a solid understanding and appreciation for how PR and content feed into wider digital marketing ecosystems.
As such, Rich and his team will always consider additional marketing aspects with their work, such as gaining backlinks, amplification via social media and email and supporting other SEO and GEO objectives.

Sam has grown his ever-evolving SEO experience by working across a range of industries and businesses. His expertise covers on-page, technical and local search marketing, but he particularly enjoys the challenging aspect of finding and fixing technical issues.
Throughout his agency-side experience, he has developed expertise across B2B and B2C organisations, and is always testing and researching new methods to sharpen his organic strategies. Always keeping his finger on the pulse, he understands that SEO in this day and age is constantly changing.
When he isn't running exciting search marketing campaigns, you'll find him competing in ultramarathons or chasing his ginger spaniel around the woods.

Jack has spent over a decade in paid search and paid social, working across leading international agencies and with global brands. He brings a broad range of expertise, spanning eCommerce, B2B and B2C.
Data-led with a background in mathematics, he focuses on the fundamental principles of search rather than chasing shortcuts. Having also worked in-house, he understands the internal dynamics behind a PPC account, and how to get campaigns and business goals pulling in the same direction, not just running in parallel.
Outside of work, he plays a lot of tag rugby, walks his dog and travels whenever he gets the chance.

Tom is a Digital Marketing Executive specialising in SEO and link building. He helps clients climb the rankings through a meticulous, dogged approach to search strategy.
Cultivating strong relationships with authentic, authoritative sites, he earns quality links that lead to gains you can actually measure. Beyond that, his day-to-day spans on-page optimisation, local SEO, outreach and content management across a range of CMSs.
Away from the office, he can be found making mixed media art, at a gig or watching Leeds United, which takes a kind of patience all of its own. He also hoards too many plants (despite a north facing flat) and will happily defend cheap lager to anyone who asks.
