Engine Carbon Clean had just expanded into a new region and wanted to drive leads via a targeted pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaign.
Engine Carbon Clean was an SME, so we understood that budget was a major limitation. As a result, we endeavoured to run a small but efficient campaign that would drive leads within their local area and deliver excellent ROI.
We designed a campaign that ran efficiently at a local level for three months.
Over the course of the campaign, we continued to iterate and modify in order to improve ROI and lower the cost per lead.
In particular, we changed the target terms in order to reduce the number of people who were clicking on the ads in order to find out information about the process, or because they were looking for general car cleaning services.
Additionally, we also set up conversion tracking. This allowed us to leverage Google’s machine learning capabilities to refine our ideal customer and appeal directly to them.
In our initial discussions with the client, we were told that in order to deliver effective ROI, the cost per acquisition (CPA) for the campaign needed to be below £100.
After just two months of the campaign, we were able to deliver dozens of relevant leads for our client at a CPA rate of just £30.
