The agency is led by four driven, knowledgeable founders. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Executive to join our team and help the business flourish.
We’re a small, fast-growing business that’s been established for several years, and we’ve already seen existing team members grow quickly, take on meaningful responsibility, and build experience that’s rarely available in larger agencies.
JOB OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns, predominantly focusing on link building and outreach campaigns. They will also support the directors in the marketing activities of the agency itself. Occasionally, they will also be tasked with some technical SEO and content marketing projects, as well as assisting with the general admin requirements of the business.
Experience is not necessary, but the ability to demonstrate a keen interest in digital marketing is essential.
A full training programme will be delivered and will be designed to help the candidate grow in their knowledge and experience.
This is a unique opportunity to work with four digital marketing experts with 50 years of combined experience, as well as the wider team. In addition, the successful candidate will also be assigned a training partner to assist them with their development.
This is a hybrid role, meaning that the successful candidate will have some opportunities to work from home, as well as in a Leeds city centre office.
The company offers quarterly social events. We also offer an annual training and conference budget, the cycle scheme, as well as a one-off budget allowance for a remote working office set up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Link Building
• Assist in the development and execution of outreach and wider digital marketing campaigns.
• Creative writing and producing lifestyle or news content, in some instances.
Content Creation and Management
• Assist in managing and updating website content.
Creative & Marketing Support
• Produce marketing assets for our own business using tools such as Canva, including social media graphics and multi-slide carousel content.
• Support the creation of visual content for social channels, internal marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
Analytics and Reporting
• Assist in tracking and analysing the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
• Prepare reports on campaign performance and provide insights for improvement.
Market Research
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the digital marketing space.
• Monitor competitor activities and report on industry best practices.
Admin
• Assist the co-founders with business administration and office management needs.
REQUIREMENTS
• Basic understanding of performance marketing and an ability to demonstrate a keen interest in the subject matter.
• Be based in Leeds or within a short commuting distance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail.
• An ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
DESIRED SKILLS
• Experience in an office environment (internships included).
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Creative writing skills.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Pitchbox).
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Shopify etc.)
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
• Basic HTML knowledge.
