About Another Concept

Another Concept was founded in 2023 by four digital marketing experts with more than 50 years of combined experience. Our founders, Alex, Marcus, Tom and Rich met in 2015 while working for one of the UK’s largest digital marketing agencies. Although they had varying specialisms, they developed a strong bond that they’ve maintained ever since.

Over the years, all four founders moved on, and each experienced a number of varied roles both in-house and at other agencies. But, no matter where each founder worked or the level of seniority they reached, they retained one belief: clients deserve more.

Motivated by a strong desire to change the way things are done, Another Concept was born.

Alex Gregory

Alex has worked with big companies and government agencies to deliver excellent digital experiences. From strategic digital campaigns to website builds and compliance, he’s an experienced marketer that knows how to grow brands online.

When he’s not in the office, Alex can usually be found playing some kind of sport. But, although he’s a 5-a-side wizard and Leeds United fan, he’s also a keen amateur photographer and gig-goer.

Alex Gregory

Marcus Hearn

Marcus has spent his career growing the organic search visibility of both large organisations and SMEs. He specialises in technical SEO but he’s obsessed with curating strategies that leverage expertise and unlock potential. 

Fluent in Spanish, he splits his time between Buenos Aires and sunny Leeds. When he’s not working, he can usually be found either at Bramall Lane supporting Sheffield United or enjoying a traditional Argentinian BBQ.

Tom Brook

Tom has more than 10 years of experience working in copywriting, content strategy and PR. Over the years, he’s led one of the largest copywriting teams in the UK and has worked on a freelance basis for some of the country’s biggest brands.

When he’s not typing away on his laptop, he’s usually either watching or playing sport. His big loves are golf, Leeds United and all forms of cricket. Just don’t talk to him about Marcelo Bielsa. He’s still not over it.

Tom Brook

Tom has more than 10 years of experience working in copywriting, content strategy and PR. Over the years, he’s led one of the largest copywriting teams in the UK and has worked on a freelance basis for some of the country’s biggest brands.

Rich Hart

Rich has spent over 10 years working within agencies, in-house and on a freelance basis. Experienced in copywriting, content strategy, digital PR, outreach, consultancy, training and more, Rich currently drives our digital PR offering.

Rich is creative when it comes to designing campaigns that work. He’s secured coverage on top publications and continues to develop innovative ideas. Outside of work, Rich is a family man and he can often be found at the MKM, supporting Hull City.
